September: Three Things We Are Loving

Our Founder recently returned from a summer trip to Scandinavia and discovered inspiration galore. Here are three things she found mindfully ingenious.

Cargo Bikes

Copenhagen-designed cargo bikes are perfect for taking in the beauty of a city, getting your heart rate up, and toting a few things around.

Like other busy cities, Copenhagen is no stranger to the hustle and bustle of a morning commute. But as the bicycling capital of the world, even more people choose to ditch four wheels for two to get around town.

Plus, these bikes are mindful of the planet, your family, and your animals. What more can you ask for? No (furry) friend is left behind when cruising the Copenhagen coastline and beyond–some even include a transparent window on the cargo box.

Tap into your curiosity and explore the open road one pedal at a time.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art

A space originally named by an officer who married three women, Louise, Louise, and Louise (a story for another time), this property has it all: creative architecture, sculptures, shopping, gardens, food, and art. It’s a perfectly curated space to roam, get lost, and bask in serenity.

An afternoon is well spent weaving through Exhibitions and strolling in the Sculpture Park. We could spend days wandering and mindfully contemplating the care that went into creating this visionary space and the art that it homes. If you dream of heading to Denmark anytime soon, add this to the itinerary.

Ett Hem

Photography by Magnus Marding

This is so much more than just a hotel in Stockholm. As the name implies, it's a home (three, actually). Everyone makes you feel completely welcome in the most low-key and authentic way possible.

The food, accommodation, gardens, and attention to detail are exceptional and executed in fabulous taste under the influence of Ilse Crawford's fine eye. Ett Hem maintains the inviting feel and comfort of home no matter where you’re traveling from. Sitting in the gardens or unwinding in a marble bathtub is like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket on a winter evening.

We’re still marveling at how something so beautiful can feel so approachable and genuine. Bravo to owner Jeanette Mix for assembling such an exceptional team and unforgettable experience.
